Our host hotel, the Doubletree by Hilton Toronto Airport, is located in Toronto's west end, approximately 25 minutes from downtown Toronto and 5 minutes from Toronto Pearson International Airport.

Con Space

Furnal Equinox will be held in the International wing of the Doubletree (same as last year). The wing can be accessed by heading down the main hallway of the hotel towards the fitness centre, pool and Zen Spa. There is also direct access to the parking lot at the side of the building.

Guest Rooms and Facilities

The Doubletree offers guest rooms for up to four adults. The rooms come in several configurations: one queen or king size bed, a king or queen bed plus a sofa bed, and two queen beds. Room amenities include a flat-screen TV, ironing board, alarm clock and coffee maker.

Hotel guests can use their room keycard to access the hotel's fitness room, as well as a pool and waterslides (waterslide hours may be limited). Free wireless Internet access is available throughout the con space and in all hotel rooms. Accessible hotel rooms are also available upon request.

Check-In and Check-Out

Check-in time: 3 pm
Check-out time: 12 noon

Early check-in will be permitted if rooms are available, and late check-out will be permitted for an additional fee. The hotel will hold luggage for you after checkout if required, and may be able to hold it for you before your room is available as well.

Food

There are five restaurants located in the hotel itself serving a wide variety of world cuisine. There are also a number of restaurants right across the street and in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.

Quiet Hour

For the courtesy of other hotel guests, please finish the noisy phase of your parties by 11:00 pm.

These rates apply to any stay between Thursday, March 15 and Monday, March 19 under our group name (Furnal Equinox).

Booking

To book your stay at the Doubletree, you have two options:

• Book online now using our Group Booking Page
• Call the hotel at (416) 244-1711 and mention "Furnal Equinox" when you book your room.

You must reserve your room before February 15, 2011 to take advantage of the con rate. After that date rooms will revert back to the hotel for general sale.

Please be advised that at check-in you must provide a credit card, as well as valid photo identification. A "hold" will be placed on the card for funds equal to the amount of your stay, in addition to incidental expenses such as room service.

Parking

The Doubletree does not run its own parking facilities; parking is provided by an outside company. However, there are roughly 1,700 spaces available throughout the weekend.

Hotel guests are eligible for a parking rate of $12 per night. You can use your hotel keycard to enter and exit the parking lot as desired.
The rate for non-hotel guests is $2.50 per half hour, up to a $16 daily maximum.

Shipping to Hotel

For dealers wishing to ship their merchandise in advance, the hotel will receive these at no charge. However, the hotel will only accept and hold items for two days in advance, and all materials must be taken with you when you leave. Please make sure that your boxes are clearly marked with your name and are numbered appropriately (i.e. box 1 of 2 etc.).
